Isaiah 117 House in Logan County hosting groundbreaking

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – The Isaiah 117 House in Logan County is hosting a groundbreaking on April 23 at noon.

The Isaiah 117 House is a nonprofit that seeks to change the way foster care begins, providing a furnished and staffed house where kids who will eventually be put in foster care can spend their time while waiting for placement rather than sitting in a government office.

The venture has been underway for the last two years.

Once open, kids will have food, access to toiletries and sleep in beds to provide a more comfortable experience.
