RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. – At Rolling Hills Golf Course, the Isaiah 117 House, which serves Logan, Butler, and Simpson counties, will host a golf tournament on September 6 to raise money that will assist kids in crucial ways.

The Isaiah 117 House is an organization that serves as a softer landing place for kids as they await placement in the foster care system. Rather than sitting in a Department of Community-Based Services office, which could add even more fuel to an emotional fire, the house is there to “lavishly love” on children and prepare both them and their new family for foster care, gifting clothes or gift cards and anything else the family could need.

Executive Director Lori Gafford said giving kids some sense of normalcy in a situation as intense as removal is important, and the tournament will help to continue that.
