Humane Society needs donations to care for sick puppies
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society is caring for several surrendered puppies suffering from one of the worst cases of ringworm the shelter has ever seen.
The Humane Society needs to give the pups the chance to be treated so that they can find loving, forever homes once they are healed and healthy.
The shelter reached the bottom of its medical funds before posting a request to Facebook.
In just a few short hours, the community teamed up to support the animal shelter and have already donated over $3,000 toward the pup’s medical bills, but the shelter still needs more.
The money that remains after treating the puppies will be used to support other animals at the shelter.
