Hot Rods season delayed due to coronavirus

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The Bowling Green Hot Rods won’t be taking the field anytime soon.

On Thursday afternoon, Minor League Baseball released a statement saying that the start of the season has been delayed.

Major League Baseball suspended Spring Training and delayed the first part of its season on Thursday as well.

The Hot Rods were supposed to open the season on Thursday, April 9.

Bowling Green Ballpark is the site of this season’s Midwest League All-Star Game on June 23.
