Hot Rods rev engines on Opening Day against Tourists

ASHEVILLE, NC – The Bowling Green Hot Rods started their season off in dominant fashion crushing the Asheville Tourists, 10-0.

The game dealt with a power outage multiple times, but both teams were able to play once the lights came back on.

Ben Peoples got the start for the Hot Rods tossing four shutout innings with two strike outs.

Junior Caminero went five-for-six with four RBIs.

They will play the Tourists again tomorrow at 5:35 p.m. local time.
