NEW DETAILS: Units respond to Horse Cave fire on Christmas Eve

HORSE CAVE, Ky. – New details are now available after a house fire broke out on Christmas Eve in Horse Cave.
According to Horse Cave Fire Department chief Mason Michael, Horse Cave units were dispatched at 5:34 p.m. on Dec. 24 to Church Street in Horse Cave for a structure fire.
When News 40 first reported on this incident, firefighters stated they were bringing the majority of the fire under control that evening.
No one was inside of the home during the incident, and no injuries have been reported, Michael says.
Michael confirmed firefighters found the fire in the back of the structure, where the most damage occurred.
Cave City Fire Department additionally responded to the scene to provide assistance.
Fire officials say the cause of the fire has not yet been determined at this time.
