Hope House prepares for the 14th annual Cooking for Hope
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Hope House is preparing for their biggest fundraiser of the year, the Cooking for Hope fundraising Gala.
The annual gala supports the Ministry of Hope House all year long, featuring an iron-chef-styled cooking competition between teams of local pastors, a meal for guests, a presentation about the work Hope House does in the community and a silent auction.
To continue its mission to help overcome poverty, Hope House has set a goal of $75,000 for the 14th annual Cooking for Hope.
Casey Hammons, director of Marketing and Communications for Hope House Ministries, says, “We provide faith-based education, transportation, workforce development, addiction recovery, and financial empowerment programs. Basically, our goal is to provide long-term solutions, and have a person really change their circumstance, to realize their dignity, value, and skills that they have, help them apply those, and walk with them through that process to help them overcome poverty.”
The silent auction will become available online on April 26, 2024. To become a sponsor, or buy a ticket for Cooking for Hope on Thursday, May 9, 2024, you can visit the Hope House website.
