Hope for Hunger distributes more than 295K servings in Warren County

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Warren County families now have a stronger fight against food insecurity.

REALTOR Association of Southern Kentucky and Feeding America partnered to host Hope for Hunger, a yearly effort to gather food donations for those in need.

This year, the group says it collected 295,960 servings for the local community.

Donations were brought to the Warren County Public Schools and Bowling Green Independent School districts, providing support for families.

According to the release by the USDA’s Economic Research Service, 44 million people, including 13 million children, were food insecure in 2022.
