Holley LS Fest East returns to Bowling Green this week

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – An annual tradition is returning to Bowling Green this week.

The 15th Holley LS Fest East takes place September 6-8 at Beech Bend Raceway.

Event organizers say last year’s event attracted over 40,000 attendees and expects a larger crowd this week.

The event celebrates the LS engine and automotive technology and will feature autocross events, drag racing, drifting challenges, an off-road exhibition, and a burnout contest.

The Bowling Green Police Department expects traffic to increase starting Wednesday and encourages motorists to exercise caution on the roads. The department says it will have high-visibility patrols to monitor criminal activity.
