Hilltopper football set to wear throwback helmets against Aggies

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – As WKU football prepares for its upcoming matchup on the road with the New Mexico State Aggies, it was revealed on Tuesday afternoon that the Tops will wear another sweet set of headgear, bringing out their second throwback helmet of the season.

This one is all red with WKU and the player number in simple white lettering, and it pays homage to the 1983 Hilltopper football team.

The WKU equipment team has been putting in work to make sure the guys on the field continue to look as fire as their play has been this season.
