Hightower unseats Jerry “Peanuts” Gaines for Warren County Sheriff

After 40 years, there is a new sheriff in town, and his name is Brett Hightower. 

After a massive upset last night, Hightower defeated the longtime sheriff of Warren County Jerry "Peanuts" Gaines.

Hightower won by a considerable margin, accumulating about 58% of the vote.

Hightower, a decorated military veteran and Bowling Green police officer, now takes over after the upset.
