Helton receives USA Lacrosse All-American honors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Spartan is receiving national accolades.

South Warren senior Presley Helton has been named a USA Lacrosse All-American, as voted on by coaches in the state of Kentucky.

Helton scored 81 goals to go with 10 assists and 111 draw controls in the 2024 season. Helton’s 81 goals rank second in the state.

The South Warren Girls Lacrosse program stated on Facebook that Helton’s impact on Kentucky lacrosse will be felt for generations.

“Presley, you have not only left your name into South Warren Girls Lacrosse history but have also left a special mark on the hearts. Forever a Spartan, your legacy will continue to inspire generations of players to come. Congratulations, Presley Helton, on this remarkable achievement as the first Girls Lacrosse Spartan to receive the All-American award!”

Helton will continue playing lacrosse collegiately at Transylvania University in the fall.
