Hart County Coroner announces resignation
MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- The Hart County Coroner has announced his resignation.
According to the Hart County Judge-Executive’s office, Reggie Pettit is resigning to spend more time with family.
His last day is February 22.
The county has already named Pettit’s successor, Assistant Coroner Tony Roberts.
Alexis Yates will become the new assistant coroner.
Pettit, a Republican, was first elected as coroner in 2014.
