Hart Co. Animal Shelter offering free dog adoptions

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – The Hart County Animal Shelter is offering free adoptions on every dog in the shelter.

The shelter posted on Facebook Tuesday, saying the deal lasts through the end of August.

This effort is part of Clear the Shelters, according to rescuers. Officially, Clear the Shelters returns on Saturday, Aug. 26, when shelters across south central Kentucky will offer adoption deals to get animals some loving homes.

You can stop by the Hart County Animal Shelter at 2190 S. Dixie Highway in Munfordville on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

You may also reach the shelter at 270-524-1692. Rescuers say they will take questions about visiting on an early morning on Wednesday and Saturday if needed.
