Greenview welcomes new doctors

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital welcomed two new doctors to the hospital’s medical staff. Oncology and Hematology physician, Shajadi Patan, and board-certified pulmonologist and internal medicine physician, Martin Sanchez, M.D. to its medical

located to where they live and work.”

Dr. Sanchez completed his medical degree at the Central University of Ecuador in Quito, Ecuador, where he
also served as an internal medicine instructor. He completed an internal medicine internship and residency at
Johns Hopkins University, Sinai Hospital of Baltimore in Baltimore, Maryland, and served a medicine
instructor while in a supervisory resident role. Subsequently, Dr. Sanchez completed his fellowship training in
Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska.

“Dr. Patan is a wonderful addition to our medical staff,” Sherrod said. “She is committed to providing high-quality care to her patients and is a great addition to our community.”

Dr. Patan earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh, India. She
completed her internal medicine residency at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, La. Afterward,
she was awarded a fellowship in hematology and oncology at O.L.S.U. in Shreveport, Louisiana. Dr. Patan is
also a board-certified internal medicine physician.
