Green River Ferry and Flint Ridge Road to temporarily close

MAMMOTH CAVE, Ky. – Mammoth Cave National Park says its Green River Ferry will be closed from 6 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 26.

Officials say the closure is due to maintenance for the cooling fans on the ferry engine.

Flint Ridge Road will be closed from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, July 28 for hazardous tree removal.

Park officials say the hazardous trees resulted after a severe storm that impacted the park on March 3.
