Upon arrival, K105 reports first responders learned a Chevrolet Malibu driven by 26-year-old Kayleigh L. Wease had approached a set of railroad tracks before leaving the roadway and entering an area of grass.
Officials say it then traveled down an embankment before flipping adjacent to the tracks.
Two children in the vehicle, ages three and five years old, received evaluation by EMS on scene. One child sustained a minor injury.
The children were turned over to family members.
Wease, who sustained minor injuries, was arrested following Standard Field Sobriety Testing.
She is charged with operating a motor vehicle under the influence and two counts of first-degree wanton endangerment. Wease remains at the Grayson County Detention Center.
