Graves-Gilbert Clinic confirms data breach of healthcare service, Change Healthcare

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Local patients may have recently received a letter regarding a reported data breach of Change Healthcare.

Graves-Gilbert Clinic confirmed Tuesday, Nov. 19 that this letter is legitimate.

The letter states that Change Healthcare says there was a data breach across the dates of Feb. 17 and Feb. 20. Change Healthcare “provides services to health care providers, health insurance plans and other companies, from which individuals may have received health services or health insurance,” according to changehealthcare.com.

In an email on Monday, Graves-Gilbert Clinic stated it encourages those who have received the message to follow instructions to receive free credit monitoring.
