Gov. Andy Beshear signs 20 bills into law
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Tuesday afternoon, Kentucky Governor, Andy Beshear, signed 20 bills into law.
The bills passed are in regards to child support and other safeguard-related regulations. Governor Beshear says that he and his team have been “laser focused on addressing the needs of our Kentucky families and communities.”
Some legislation that received the Governor’s signature has become popular among the commonwealth. These include House Bill 15 and Senate Bill 120.
House Bill 15 allows Kentuckians to obtain instructional driving permits at 15-years-old, while Senate Bill 120 requires interscholastic athletics and coaches to report abuse.
Governor Beshear vetoed 12 other bills and returned four without signatures.
