Gov. Andy Beshear, first lady Britainy Beshear invite Kentuckians to ‘Shop & Share’

FRANKFORT, Ky. – On Monday, Gov. Andy Beshear, first lady Britainy Beshear and Lt. Gov. Jacqueline Coleman invited Team Kentucky to Shop and Share this Saturday, Feb. 7, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. to help support survivors of domestic violence.

Each year, Britainy Beshear partners with ZeroV to host Shop and Share on the Saturday before the Super Bowl.

The one-day event is meant for people to shop for items that are needed within your regions domestic violence shelter from the list provided by the local volunteer shelter.

According to the governor, they want to makes sure that survivors that arrive at the shelter have everyday essentials since they often arrive at the shelter without any.

Since Shop & Share was first established in 2008 by former first lady Jane Beshear in 2008, the event has raised more than $6 million in monetary and in-kind donations and raised $349,000 in 2025 alone.
