Google visits Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Google will host free ‘Grow with Google’ workshops in Bowling Green from 9:30 to 4:30 Friday at the Bob Kirby Branch of the Warren County Library.

Grow with Google is on a national tour in partnership with America’s libraries.

The company aims to help the public learn the digital skills they need to succeed through training led by Google teams, presenters and coaches.

Representative Brett Guthrie, Warren County Public Library Director Lisa Rice, Google spokeswoman Katherine Williams and Don Gerard from Land Shark Shredding will make remarks at 11:30 a.m.

The tour includes libraries in all 50 states as most public libraries assist with job applications and interviewing skills, along with digital skills training.
