Glasgow square traffic to be impacted by event

GLASGOW, Ky. – Drivers in Glasgow should be aware of a traffic impact downtown on Friday.

The Glasgow Police Department says the Whoville on the Square event will cause several closures.

These include the north and east side of the Glasgow Public Square starting at 6 a.m. Dec. 20, with the south and west side of the Public Square closing at 2 p.m.

The event will take place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. and is presented by Riverlake Church.

The roads will be closed until the event ends. Please seek an alternate route if you must travel in this area.
