Glasgow police respond to collision on S L Rogers Wells Boulevard, multiple injured

GLASGOW, Ky. – Several people were injured in a multi-vehicle collision Thursday in Glasgow.

In a release Thursday evening, the Glasgow Police Department says it received a call around 9:24 a.m. about an injury collision at the intersection of Cleveland Avenue and S L Rogers Wells Boulevard.

Police say they learned a white 1999 GMC Yukon operated by Mitchell Lyons of Glasgow was traveling northbound on S L Rogers Wells Boulevard while a blue 2009 Ford passenger car operated by Ronnie Hamilton of Glasgow traveled southbound on Cleveland Avenue.

Police say the vehicles collided at the intersection, causing both vehicles to head northwest before striking a 2014 black Cadillac driven by Wade Ford of Glasgow.

GPD major Terry Flatt confirmed four people were involved. Police say all of those involved were taken to T.J. Samson Hospital for treatment.

Glasgow police were assisted on the scene by the Glasgow Fire Department, Barren Metcalfe EMS and Barren County Emergency Management personnel.

This collision is currently under investigation by the Glasgow Police Department Reconstruction team.
