Glasgow police respond to 2-vehicle collision, 1 injured

GLASGOW, Ky. – One person was injured in a collision on Monday in Glasgow.

On Monday, the Glasgow Police Department says officers responded to Shane Drive in relation for an injury collision.

Police say they learned a 2020 Buick Encore operated by Rita Shephard was traveling southbound on N L Rogers Wells Boulevard and attempted to merge from the left lane to the right when it collided with a 2024 Chevy Trax operated by Pamela Howard.

According to police, Howard was traveling southbound on N L Roger Wells Boulevard in the right lane.

A passenger in Howard’s vehicle, identified as Judy Lowe, was transported by Barren/Metcalfe EMS for her injuries, according to police.

The Glasgow Fire Department assisted at the scene.
