Glasgow police investigate firearm threat at Glasgow High School

GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department investigated a threat against a local school on Monday.

Major Terry Flatt says the department and Glasgow High School collaborated to investigate a firearm threat against Glasgow High School.

A male juvenile made threats of having a firearm and was going to “shoot it up” at Glasgow High School. The juvenile was wearing a ski mask.

The department says the juvenile did not possess firearms.

The male juvenile is charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd degree.

Flatt says the department and the school system take threats seriously and will prosecute.
