Glasgow Police Department responds to injury collision
GLASGOW, Ky. – Two people were injured Saturday after a collision in Glasgow.
The Glasgow Police Department says it responded to the intersection of N L Rogers Boulevard and West Main Street for an injury accident.
Police say they determined a 2011 Chevy Impala driven by Derek Sims was traveling eastbound on Main Street when it attempted to turn left onto N L Rogers Boulevard at the intersection.
According to police, Sims did not see a 2012 Lincoln driven by Tyler Lucas, who was traveling westbound on Main Street to go through the intersection.
Two passengers in Sims’ car, identified as Shayla Forrest and Faith Bebout, were transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for their injuries.
No other injures were reported, deputies say.
The collision was investigation by GPD with assistance from the Glasgow Fire Department and Barren/Metcalfe EMS.
