Glasgow Police Department announces April safety checkpoints
GLASGOW, Ky. – The Glasgow Police Department announced safety checkpoints on Wednesday.
According to a release, traffic safety checkpoints in the City of Glasgow during April will be at Columbia Avenue, West Main Street, North Jackson Highway.and Happy Valley Road.
The checkpoints will not be limited to these roadways, according to the release.
GPD officers will be enforcing laws related to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, licensing of motor vehicles and operators, registration and insurance, seat belt and child restraint and motor vehicle equipment violations.
