Glasgow church group safely returns to U.S. from Israel

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The River Lake Church Group that was in Israel earlier this week is now back in the U.S., according to the church.

The church posted to its Facebook page Wednesday sharing the news, saying the group is still making its way to Glasgow, Kentucky.

The group had formerly been unable to leave Israel when conflict broke out.

River Lake Church’s lead pastor, Nic Smith, posted to Facebook Wednesday around 1:30 p.m., saying they had just landed in Boston, Massachusetts.

Smith says they have one more flight before getting closer to home.
