BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – You might get a call from a strange number asking to survey your land.

However, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, otherwise known as FEMA, is in town and may just be looking to schedule an appointment with you.

In most south-central Kentucky counties this week, FEMA representatives will be surveying and looking for potential storm damage.

They may try to call to schedule an appointment.

If you’re worried about the validity of the call, you can always contact their main office at 800-621-3362 to verify.

If you do have damage on your property and would like to use one of their free legal services, that number is 859-993-0300.
