General Motors reveals new 2027 Corvette Grand Sport
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – General Motors in Bowling Green unveiled the new 2027 Grand Sport, the true “purist” Corvette, Friday morning.
This new model is the sixth variant added to the eighth generation of Corvette and holds a new 6.7L V-8 engine.
General Motors has all six models of the eighth generation on display at the Corvette plant with the new 2027 Grand Sport front and center for everyone to see.
These cars are special, as they are all built right here in Bowling Green and have been for 45 years now.
For almost half a century, Corvette has been assembled in Bowling Green, something the workers at the plant take a lot of pride in as they share these new vehicles all over the world.
“So, you know anywhere you go and you see a Corvette, I have so much pride for the community and for the team here for putting those cars on the road, but also sending that joy into the world,” said Ray Theriault, plant director at General Motors.
The 2027 Grand Sport is now in the test driving stage and will be put into production and available for purchase this summer.
