BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Families across south-central Kentucky are invited to attend a free community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 28 at Warren Central High School’s football field.

According to organizers, registration for giveaways will begin at 2 p.m., with the egg hunts starting at 3 p.m. The event will feature 50,000 Easter eggs, making it the largest Easter egg hunt in south-central Kentucky, according to a release by Hughes and Coleman.

The event is designed to provide a fun, family-friendly afternoon for the community. In addition to the egg hunts, families can enjoy Chaney’s Dairy Barn ice cream, pictures with the Easter bunny, games, balloons and additional activities throughout the event.

Children attending the event will have the chance to win bicycles and helmets, and adults can enter for a $200 Visa gift card giveaway.

Families are encouraged to pre-register through the event’s Facebook page, which allows them to skip the line for bicycle registration when they arrive.

To ensure all children can participate, organizers say they will also host a special accommodations egg hunt area for children with differing needs.

The event is made possible through partnerships with Chaney’s Dairy Barn, Warren County Public Schools and the Warren County Parks and Recreation Department.

The event will take place at Warren Central High School’s football field located at 559 Morgantown Road in Bowling Green. In the event of rain, the egg hunt will be held Sunday, March 29 at the same time and venue.
