Franklin-Simpson’s Chaney to continue golf career at Campbellsville

FRANKLIN, Ky. – Tuesday morning at Franklin-Simpson High School, another Wildcat athlete made their plans for the future official.

This time around it was golf senior Chloe Chaney who was recognized for signing with the Campbellsville Tigers.

Chaney was a stellar athlete for the Lady Cats during her high school career, and now she will carry out a family tradition as both of her parents attended, met and graduated together from Campbellsville University.

Chloe stated that this has been a dream of hers ever since she was a sophomore at FSHS and after the signing ceremony, she spoke on how her game has grown over the years.

“ I’ve learned a lot. Patience is a very good thing to have in the game of golf. You can’t get mad too easily, it’s like the ball knows,” Chaney said. “I’m willing to put in the work. I want to do good and I have a lot to live up to. The expectation is set high, but I hope [Campbellsville] knows they’re getting a good person, and they can always count on me.”
