Franklin police to conduct traffic enforcement blitz

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Franklin Police Department will be conducting a traffic enforcement blitz starting Monday, March 17.

According to police, this will occur around South College Street, Akin Avenue and Liberty Street. During this time, officers will focus on speeding and stop sign violations, although all traffic violations will be enforced.

This initiative will last through March 31.

Police say the goal of this is to promote safety on the roads and address ongoing traffic concerns.
