Foundation Christian Academy cuts ribbon on new preschool: The Falcon’s Nest
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Foundation Christian Academy officially cut the ribbon Thursday on its brand-new preschool facility, The Falcon’s Nest — a $6 million investment designed to serve the school’s youngest students and meet the needs of a growing community.
Set to open its doors to 128 preschoolers starting Aug. 7, the 22,000-square-foot expansion marks a major milestone for the private school, which has seen continued growth in enrollment and demand for early childhood education.
David Panham, president of Foundation Christian Academy, says the decision to prioritize preschool in this expansion was intentional.
“We wanted to decide — okay, what piece of our campus needs to grow? What did it need to expand? What was the next building going to accomplish and serve the most? And it was our preschool kids,” Panham said. “Everything is designed for them in this building.”
The new building, located just behind the main school campus, also brings major infrastructure improvements for the entire FCA community. These include 125 new parking spaces, a larger cafeteria, a brand-new library, a dedicated middle school classroom wing, and new offices for admissions and business services.
But it’s the preschool building’s design that’s turning heads.
“We want this building to look like Bowling Green,” Panham said. “So we designed the Capitol Theater, and one side of the hallway looks like downtown with different stores and shops. The other side reflects the community — with classrooms styled to resemble local homes.”
Construction began in May 2024, and with the finishing touches now complete, anticipation is building for the first group of little learners to step through the doors.
