Former Warren County Clerk, Dorothy “Dot” Owens, dies
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- A former Warren County Clerk has died.
Dorothy “Dot” Owens passed away at a hospice facility on Wednesday.
Owens worked in the Warren County Clerk’s Office for nearly four decades and served as Clerk for eight of those years.
Owens, a Democrat, lost a reelection bid in 2014 to current Clerk, Lynette Yates.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Saturday at J.C. Kirby and Son Lovers Lane Chapel with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery.
Owens was 77 years old.
