Former Lady Cougar volleyball star Aubrey Sears to transfer to WKU

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Thursday, former star Logan County Lady Cougar Aubrey Sears announced on her social media that she will be playing much closer to home next fall, transferring to become a part of the WKU Hilltopper squad.

At LCHS, Sears recorded 2,000+ career kills with a hitting percentage over .460 and helped the Lady Cougars win five 13th District titles and even make a trip to the state quarterfinals as a key piece of the roster from eighth grade and on.

The outside hitter committed to the University of Houston straight out of high school where she appeared in 20 matches with the Cougars as a freshman.

Now as she enters her sophomore season, Sears will look ahead to competing in Conference USA with the Tops under head coach Travis Hudson.
