Flooding continues to impact roads in Hart County

Several Roads Remain Closed Due To Flooding

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. – Recent flooding continues to affect travel across Hart County, with several roads remaining closed due to high water.

County officials say the intersection of Kentucky highways 677 and 740 remains closed as crews continue to assess conditions and make repairs where needed.

Emergency crews have been able to reopen several roadways throughout the day as floodwaters recede, but officials say conditions can change quickly.

Hart County Emergency Management is urging motorists to obey all road closure signs and barricades and to avoid driving through flooded areas.

Officials say drivers should use caution while traveling and continue monitoring local updates as recovery efforts continue.
