Fiscal court to consider $44 million budget

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Magistrates will vote on a first reading of the budget during Tuesday morning’s fiscal court meeting.

Warren County Treasurer, Greg Burrell, said the budget is around $44 million which is up about $1 million from the 2018-2019 budget.

Burrell said Warren County residents will not see a property tax increase.

The budget includes $3 million for road projects and $8 million for the jail.

The budget won’t become official until the second reading and vote on June 21.
