Feel Good Friday – Berenda’s Crossing

In February of 2017, the Parker Bennett community lost a dedicated crossing guard in Berenda Martin.

She was known for doing more for the kids that she encountered at her crosswalk than just seeing them safely across the street.

In August of that same year, her daughters Rena and Sequoia Martin launched Berenda’s Crossing in honor of their mother.

In today’s Feel Good Friday, we spoke with Sequoia who works the same crosswalk her mom use to work.
