Farmers RECC earns one of the highest customer satisfaction scores in the U.S.

GLASGOW, Ky. – Farmers Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation has been recognized for high customer satisfaction, earning one of the top five American Customer Satisfaction Index scores among electric cooperatives nationwide.
The recognition comes from Touchstone Energy’s participation in the ACSI Energy Utility Study, according to a release. Farmers RECC says it earned a score of 92 out of 100, well above national averages for other utility types. Municipal utilities averaged 75, while investor-owned utilities averaged 74.
Officials say the score reflects strong service, reliability and member trust across Farmers RECC’s service area, which includes more than 27,000 services in eleven Kentucky counties.
Customer satisfaction was measured through surveys conducted between Sept. 1 and Sept. 30, 2025. The results were announced February 10, 2026, in Glasgow, where Farmers RECC is headquartered.
