A 4-year-old girl from Tennessee is searching for a Build-A-Bear with a special tie to her mother who has died.

The rainbow tie dye bear contains a recording of the mother’s heartbeat, according to Goodwill Industries-Knoxville Communications director Cindy Dodson.

Dodson confirmed the bear was accidentally donated at a Goodwill store in Tazewell, Tennessee last week. Dodson said the bear has since been sold, but the store has not given up on trying to reunite the two.

A sign is currently up in the store letting everyone know the bear was accidentally donated, saying the bear is “the only thing of a departed mother that little girl has.”

Employees at the store are asking around about the bear in hopes someone will know of a lead, Dodson says.

According to a radio outlet’s post on social media, the pictures above are similar to the actual bear.

Dodson says the girl’s father has since been in contact looking for the bear.

If you can provide help or purchased the bear, please return it to the store or message us on Facebook.
