Earlier trash pickup planned in Warren Co. due to heat advisory

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Approved waste haulers in Warren County will be collecting your trash earlier.

If your garbage day is on Fridays, make sure to be prepared Thursday. Starting Friday, garbage trucks and employees will begin their routes around 6 a.m. to avoid high temperatures.

Leaving your trash out overnight can ensure it gets picked up the next morning.

Stan Reagan, environmental planning and assistance coordinator, says “We’d like to recommend residents to set your cart out the evening before, that way you don’t have to worry about getting up at four in the morning or having a missed pickup.”

Make sure to be thoughtful of your local waste employees and break down your trash as much as possible.
