Duncan Hines Days events continue into the weekend

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you haven’t made it to this week’s Duncan Hines Days events, there’s still time to join in on the fun.
Duncan Hines Days, an annual celebration to recognize Bowling Green native Duncan Hines and his love for quality food, is in full swing. Events continue through this weekend, offering a celebration of community, food and more.
Friday, June 6
The Duncan Hines Days Friday Cake Walk is scheduled for noon at Fountain Square Park. The community is invited to join the Walking Club at noon for giveaways and more. This event could be weather dependent, so be sure to watch the forecast and check for updates here and here.
In addition, a Dolly Tribute Concert with Natasha Neely will be held at the Capitol Theatre starting at 6 p.m.
Saturday, June 7
The third annual Eats and Beats Music Festival will kick off at 3 p.m. at Circus Square Park. Join in for an evening of local music and vendors, all in celebration of Duncan Hines Days.
In addition, the Duncan Hines Duck Paddle Race and Regatta starts at 8 a.m. at Romanza Johnson Park. Full details can be viewed here.
A local market is also joining in on the Duncan Hines Days fun by offering the community free cake mix and icing while supplies last. In fact, you might have noticed free cake mix at multiple events throughout the week.
Delafield Co-Op Market is one such place offering the fun feature. According to a social media post by the market, you can come by for free Duncan Hines cake mix and icing while the products are in stock through Saturday.
The market is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 7 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
