Hundreds of fentanyl pills found during drug bust in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – In Warren County, hundreds of fentanyl pills and multiple other drugs are now off of the streets.
The Kentucky State Police stopped 60-year-old Gregory Clifford Parker of Bowling Green on Interstate 65 Thursday morning for traffic violations, according to a release by the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force.
During a search of Parker’s Honda van, officials say they found 500 fentanyl pills, 500 ecstasy pills, 4 grams of powder cocaine, 1 pound of methamphetamine, 2 pounds of marijuana and a handgun.
Parker was arrested without resistance, authorities say.
He faces charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (fentanyl), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (ecstasy), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine) and trafficking marijuana.
The investigation is still ongoing as officials say they believe Parker transported the drugs from another state
Parker was taken to the Warren County Detention Center.
