Drug bust at Tompkinsville vape shop leads to arrest
TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. – One person has been arrested following a drug bust at a Tompkinsville vape shop.
According to the Tompkinsville Police Department, officers responded on Tuesday to Lucky 7 Vape Shop to assist the Kentucky Department of Revenue and Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
Upon arrival, authorities say they were able to gain a search warrant, which led to the discovery of over 119 grams of an illegal substance, over 200 paraphernalia items and over $6,200 in cash.
A uniform citation states 45-year-old Nichole Moran of Tompkinsville was arrested. Police say she is charged with trafficking in marijuana, trafficking in a controlled substance, drug unspecified, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Other charges are pending.
The Tompkinsville Police Department was assisted on scene by the Kentucky Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office and the Kentucky Department of Revenue.
