Dog named Derp Vader adopted after over 200 days in shelter
HART COUNTY, Ky. – For one lucky dog, adoption day was a long awaited one.
Meet Derp Vader, a pup that appeared previously on WNKY News 40’s Pet of the Day.
According to a social media post by the Hart County Animal Shelter on Wednesday, Derp Vader has found his forever home after waiting 258 days.
“Now, Derp Vader is off to live the life he’s always deserved, full of love, comfort and a place to truly call home. Happy tails, sweet boy!” the animal shelter stated.
