WARREN COUNTY, Ky. – One pet is dead following a house fire Tuesday in Warren County.

According to the Woodburn Fire Department, units responded around 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 29 for a possible structure fire.

Upon arrival, the fire department says a single-story residence had visible smoke.

Fire officials say firefighters entered with poor visibility from the smoke and located a fire in the kitchen area.

The fire department says the fire was extinguished within 10 minutes of units arriving on scene.

Firefighters say they noted heavy smoke damage throughout the house.

All residents were able to exit the home without reported injuries, officials say, however, one dog died due to possible smoke inhalation.

Woodburn units were assisted by the Plano Fire Department, Browning Fire Department and Barren River Fire Department, along with MCEMS on site.
