Death investigation underway after fatal fire in Summersville

SUMMERSVILLE, Ky. – The Green County Coroner’s Office is conducting a death investigation after a fire in the Summersville community of Green County.

According to the Summersville Fire Department, a fatal fire occurred shortly after midnight on Tuesday.

Officials say no other information is being released at this time until family has been notified.

The coroner’s office says it is being assisted by the Summersville Fire Department.
