Deaf woman in Hart County arrested after dispute over fish tank

MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- A 70-year-old deaf woman from Hart County is behind bars after Kentucky State Police arrested her on a menacing charge.

According to an arrest citation, troopers were called to a home on Thursday in the 3700 block of Boyd Knob in reference to a domestic dispute.

Troopers learned through their investigation that Sharon Boehm and a man who lives with her, who is also deaf, were fighting because Boehm was upset that he did not help her clean a fish tank.

Another woman at the home, Cissy Miller, was speaking to Kentucky State Police, when the arrest citation states that Boehm moved quickly toward Miller in what appeared to be a threatening manner to assault her by drawing her hands and arms.

Boehm was arrested and lodged in the Hart County Jail
