Deadline to apply for FEMA assistance for May storm damage is Sept. 23

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – If you had damage done to your property during the week of May 21-27, an important deadline for FEMA assistance is coming up.

Monday, Sept. 23 is the final day for Kentuckians who were impacted by the May 21-27 severe storms to apply with FEMA.

Survivors have until 11:59 p.m. to apply for assistance.

You can apply by calling FEMA at 800-621-3362 or go online and apply at disasterassistance.gov. You can also download and use the FEMA app and submit your application there.
